Family of hybrid pairs of mappings and their fixed point in convex spaces under diametral δ−distances

Abstract

In this paper, we prove some results on coincidence and common fixed points for compatible as well as pointwise R-weakly commuting mappings satisfying a generalized contraction type condition on a complete metrically convex metric
spaces which generalize relevant results due to Ciri`c and Ume [3], Khan and Imdad ` [14], Rhoades [21] and others.
