Author Guidelines
Scope
Annals of Mathematics and Computer Science welcomes submissions that demonstrate the interaction between various disciplines of mathematics and computer science. The journal publishes original research articles and survey papers of high merit.
Peer Review Process
Once a paper passes initial screening by the editor it is forwarded to two anonymous referees.
After the reviews from the referees are submitted, the editor will make the final decision at which point the author will be notified.
Additionally, papers approved for publication will be examined on the grounds of research ethics.
AMCS aims at quick publication of all accepted papers.
Manuscript Preparation
Manuscripts must be prepared in LaTex. But only the PDF should be submitted during the initial submission. If accepted, the authors will submit the LaTex source file as well as any supplementary materials. A manuscript submitted for publication must:
be correct;
be significantly new in a nontrivial sense;
be of interest to an appreciable number of readers;
be clearly written. The incorrect use of the language is not admissible;
cite correctly prior relevant work related to the subject and indicate the use of the others’ ideas.
Do not use complicated mathematical expressions in the title and abstract of the paper.
This journal follows a single-blind reviewing procedure. To be considered for AMCS, a paper has to be well written, original and not published or submitted, in whole or part, elsewhere. The final decision is made based on the section editor recommendation and the reviewers' comments.
Author fees
As an open access journal, a fee (Article Publishing Charge) is payable by the authors to cover the costs associated with publication. This ensures your article will be immediately free to access by everyone. The Article Publishing Charge for AMCS is $29 USD which is paid upon the acceptance of the manuscript.
Authorship
The journal assumes that all authors agreed with the content and that all gave explicit consent to submit and that they obtained consent from the responsible authorities at the institute/organization where the work has been carried out, before the work is submitted. See the journal Ethics guidelines for details.
Competing Interests
Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest or competing interests related to the manuscript.
