Author Guidelines

Scope

Annals of Mathematics and Computer Science welcomes high-quality original research across a range  of mathematics and computer science, with particular focus on the rich interface between the two disciplines. See Aims & Scope for more details.

Peer Review Process

  1. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the editor to assess their relevance, originality, and adherence to submission guidelines. Papers that pass this initial screening are forwarded to two anonymous referees for single-blind peer review.

  2. Upon receiving the referees’ evaluations, the editor will make the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection. Authors will be notified of the decision along with the reviewers’ comments.

  3. In addition, all accepted papers are subject to a final review to ensure compliance with research ethics and publication standards before publication.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be prepared in LaTex. But only the PDF should be submitted during the initial submission.  If accepted, the authors will submit the LaTex source file as well as any supplementary materials. A manuscript submitted for publication must:

  1. be correct;
  2. be significantly new in a nontrivial sense;
  3. be of interest to an appreciable number of readers;
  4. be clearly written. The incorrect use of the language is not admissible;
  5. cite correctly prior relevant work related to the subject and indicate the use of the others’ ideas.

Editorial Policy

This journal follows a single-blind reviewing procedure. To be considered for AMCS, a paper has to be well written, original and not published or submitted, in whole or part, elsewhere. The final decision is made based on the section editor recommendation and the reviewers' comments.

Author fees

AMCS is a nonprofit journal that does not charge any publication, submission, or processing fees to authors. Our mission is to facilitate the open exchange of knowledge and promote the advancement of shared understanding.

Authorship

The journal assumes that all authors agreed with the content and that all gave explicit consent to submit and that they obtained consent from the responsible authorities at the institute/organization where the work has been carried out, before the work is submitted. See the journal Ethics guidelines for details.

Competing Interests

Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest or competing interests related to the manuscript.

Use of Generative AI

Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies may be used in preparing scientific manuscripts, but only to improve language clarity and readability. Their use must be supervised by the authors, who are responsible for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and neutrality of the output. Final responsibility for the manuscript rests with the authors.

Any use of AI tools must be transparently disclosed in the manuscript. A corresponding statement will be included in the published article. This disclosure promotes integrity, accountability, and compliance with the terms of use of the relevant technologies.

AI tools cannot be credited as authors or cited as such. Authorship requires the ability to take responsibility for the content, respond to questions about accuracy or integrity, approve the final version, and consent to submission—roles only human contributors can fulfill. Authors must also ensure that the work is original, that all listed authors meet authorship criteria, and that the content does not infringe on third-party rights. Authors are expected to review and adhere to the journal’s Ethics in Publishing policy before submission.
