Representations of SU(2) and application to K-theory

We compute the ring of topological complex K-theory of the classifying space of SU(2) by the Atiyah segal completion theorem and we compute its ring of connective K-theory by investing the Atiyah Hirzebruch spectral sequence and a cofibration spectra map connecting the connective K-theory and the integral cohomology theory.
